I hope not. If that happens, we need to turn loose a couple of coyotes in there.

When I was stationed in Canada (a small 50 person detachment) I had a party at my house. I had a 10 something year old cat that weighed about 15 pounds. His name was Sylvester. He looked just like the cartoon character. One of the people brought their dog and they thought the dog could whoop anything. I don't remember the breed but it was probably a Heinz dog. Silvester was having no part of the dog. The guy put the dog down and Sylvester hit that dog on the nose with his front leg claws three times in 1.5 seconds and the dog took off. No problem after that. :D :D

Then there's the video shown on TV where a neighbors dog chased and knocked a little boy off of his bicycle in his driveway. The kid's cat ran out of the garage and gave a body blow to the dog sending the dog (who was bigger) scampering home.

Like John, we had a Siamese cat who knew our Dachshund should stay in the kitchen and was not allowed in the rest of the house. The cat sat just outside the kitchen door and if the dog got half way through the door, the cat would just, with one paw (nails out just a little) would give the dog's nose a thump. Only took two tries by the Dachshund, (and 2 thumps) to learn not to leave.

The man died before I was born, but his wisdom is timeless...

“It's not what we don't know that hurts. It's what we know that ain't so.”
― Will Rogers

“I don't make jokes. I just watch the government and report the facts.”
― Will Rogers

“The trouble with practical jokes is that very often they get elected.”
― Will Rogers

“The difference between death and taxes is death doesn’t get worse every time Congress meets.”
― Will Rogers

“There are three kinds of men. The one that learns by reading. The few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence for themselves.”
― Will Rogers

“If pro is the opposite of con, what is the opposite of Congress?”
― Will Rogers

We still seem to have more than enough polecats elected, every time we go to the poles.... If you don't think that, just talk politics with someone.... anyone.... any party .... it's the same thing, only different.

Blah, Blah, Blah!!! That was then, now is a whole different time, but, not all, somethings are timeless.

Did you read all of them?

Did you understand them?

85 years later and it all still applies.

Don't dis that which is old purely because of it's age. ;)

The "Blah . . ." set me off. I think you do understand.(timeless) ;)
