Does anyone have a source for drum sander parts.
Looking for 1/2" to 1 1/2" X 4" to run in SS.

Why 4" long? In addition to the one linked above, Shopsmith sells a 6" inch long drum sander, but you can buy any diameter/length drum sander you can find that has a 1/2" or 1/4" spindle then mount it by buying the Shopsmith router chuck, which comes in 1/2" and 1/4" sizes. Suggest against using the drill chuck to mount.

The table could hardly be moved up/down.
I pulled it apart and cleaned the pinions and the teeth
on the table tubes. Hit them w/a little silicone and
it's just like new.

No, but $259 in 1963. Ahhhh that was for a SawSmith

319.50 for a ShopSmith.

$329.50, according to page 14 of this catalog.

I didn't see a date in the catalog, but VintageMachinery.org says it was published in 1959.
