Reading library (Wood Gloat)

This is my new reading library. All Sycamore, all free! The bottom two shelves are Anthologies, The third shelf is full of paperbacks and a "book on tape (CD!)! There would be more books if I hadn't buried my bandsaw blade in a huge blank. These were too big for the Shopsmith bandsaw, but it did a great job jointing the "paperbacks"! Most of what I do is lathe work. Some of it of a Shopsmith (I have 3), most on the Powermatic 3520B.

Wow...nice "books"! I came back from the Rocky Mountain Woodturning symposium a couple of months ago with some nice wood from North Woods Figured Woods...mostly Big Leaf Maple. It's been a joy to turn! We don't get nice wood like that much in Nebraska!
I learned how to turn on my 520 but at 6'5" it was killing my back so I now have a stand alone lathe but the 520 does everything else.

Good point...a lot of ash and cotton wood. You have drive a bit to find that as well!

I guess those are hard cover not paper backs.
