I may be striking a deal with a new place of residence, that has a 60x35 = 2,100 sq.ft. wood shop that I might be made available to me.

Nice, mine was 15x15 225srq ft, but organized!!!

16X20 = 320 Sq Ft.. Tight when making a large project/

30x40 with a quarter of it set up as a music studio. Full bathromm.

20x24=480 square feet

I have approximately 400sq' (20x20) for my shop. Then I open the garage door and I have the great outdoors as an extension of space.

Mine is 14 X24 (336 sq ft) and when I need a little more space I back the two cars into the drive and then my space grows to 28 X 32 (896 sq ft )

If both vehicles are out 440 if one vehicle is in about 300 if both are in about 50-100

However I still have the Lawn tractor, edger, bicycles, garbage cans, water heater, well pressure tank, freezer and the wife's storage cabinet to contend with. So I'm really fooling myself thinking I have 440 to start with even though that is the finish size of the garage.

Like most others, the real "shop" space is hard to pin down. My "shop" (garage) is 20 x 22, on paper. However, I measure "shop space" as the amount I can move before running into something (SS, planer, shelving for SPTs and accessories, etc), which is usually about 2 feet. Many items claiming floor space are on rollers if they are not push-able.

Wall to wall about 12 x 15.

Available space for feet, about 2 x 3.
