don't need to be crude and ugly to be effective.
The band saw has never been moble. Since I moved it into my tiny
basement shop, it has to be moble. Smooth.

Great job!!!! I hate always adding casters and then raising the whatever a bit too much, I new there had to be a way, never gave it a whole lot of thought though, but you nailed it for me.

Most everything in my shop is on wheels or somehow movable - in a small shop it's crucial. Nice job on adding casters to your tool!

See someone owns a router. I like it! No reason your parts have to look like they fell off a truck 30 years ago and that was the best they ever looked..... Beside it is good thing to practice on. From what I can see you have it down pat.

Ditto, use alot of shop projects to practice design, joints and tooling.

I love the edge routing.
All too often we don't treat ourselves to eye pleasing shop utility stuff...
This year I have promised myself (again :o ) that I "AM" going to get at least the wood shop painted along with more of the stuff in it.
I've been working on re-organizing the farm shop this fall and that is no small job. That building has been the farm/automotive shop since around 1970. By the nature of the kind of shop it is it is really prone to gather a lot of crap...

You might as well get a pair of roller skates and make it everything. :D
