So wanting to take advantage of the free shipping I just placed an order. There were a couple of things that I wanted more then 1 of. So I would change the quantity to say 5. It would not except that! The system changed it back to 1!

So same thing with another part that I wanted 3 of, enter 3 and it changed back to 1. Another part same story.

So I resorted to ordering 5 line items to get the quantity I wanted, then 3 line items and again 3 line items.

I don't recall ever seeing that happen before but it sure did today.

During all this I then forgot to enter the code for gift card but I'm not sure that could have been used with the free shipping thing anyway........

That's OK it done now.

Unless after hours, maybe a phone call?

Ran into that problem but I don't think it was the SS site. I had to put one item in the basket and then go back to the order page and order another one and then the basket showed a total of two. Got what I ordered so all was OK. Might have been the Penn State site.

Can you check and see if the problem is still reproducible? It sounds similar to a report I've had of trouble deleting items from the cart (I'm trying to narrow which OS/Browser version has that problem, but haven't been able to make it happen here).

For what ever help it might be I'm running the latest "beta" of windows10(10586.14) and the latest beta of firefox(43b7).

I went and did the same sorts of things I did yesterday and I was able to change the quantities but found something new........ I change from 1 to 5 on one item and it deleted itself?????? This only happened once in the 10 or so changes I did.

This is a fresh start for firefox but the machine was up over night.

I did not use the same parts as I don't have the order in front of me but later this afternoon I try and do a cart with the same part numbers and see how that works.

I was able to empty my cart by removing parts.

I had that problem with Windows 10 using the Edge browser. When I used Internet Explorer instead, the problem went away. A lot of sites are not compatible with the Edge browser.

I went to my order information and started entering as I did yesterday. I put 8 items into the cart then went back to change quantities. The first time it seemed to work fine. On the second change it made the change but two items were gone from the cart. This is really strange because when I removed everything and did the same thing again it worked fine??????

From my end I don't see a repeatable situation. Anyway I got other things to do yet today so I'm off to do them.

Thanks for taking time to help. The random nature of the issue means I'm now pretty sure it isn't related to a specific browser or O/S.
