I'm calling storage a tool, so lets review this tool

At the Menard's store yesterday I came across these storage bins, two packs of them for the price of one. Not a brand I've heard of or seen before but heck half price always interests me. Besides I never have enough storage containers. This is what the wrapper looks like:
I was to lazy to go get a background to shoot against so this is what you end up with picture wise and contents wise with two sets for that one price. That would be 6 larger and 6 smaller boxes all with lids.
Now lets look at one of the boxes. Note that the lid is latched in the on position. It is a self contained entity and ready to be used. The black bits are the latch.
Of course there is no rule that you have to latch them, they do quite will with the latches in the down position or just off to the side as shown here:
So here comes the interesting design feature that I wasn't expecting. They also function much like Indian-Tiffin Boxes! Here is a picture of the stack and notice the lids are off as they need to be except on the top box. The box above becomes the cover for the lower one. I have a stack of 3 shown here but I could have made it two, four, five or even all six. Buy more sets and you can stack them as high as practical.
So as the line goes, how much would you expect to pay for all of these boxes, that is 6 large 12oz boxes and additional 6 smaller 5oz? That is a total of 12 boxes, and even at just $1 a box they might be a deal. But not you will not pay $12 or even $11 or for that matter even $10 or $9 but even less then $8. Well a penny less then $8 but still not to bad an amount.
How will they hold up? No idea but I have a set and have been sticking stuff in them so I'm happy with them for now.
If you are not in an area that has a Menard's store sorry........
