I was in Half Price Books today and found they had 1/2 dozen or so of his titles Price ranged from $3 to $7. Going to sit down tonight and look through them. They were new stock, not used.

OK, you talked me into it. I just bought (4) of Nick's books. Woodworking Wisdom 1999, Table Saw, Jigs & Fixtures, and Woodworking Projects.
I actually had 4 or 5 of his books from a book club I was in. Heck, I didn't even know who, Nick was, until I joined this forum a couple weeks ago.

In the last two months I purchased every one of Nick's Workshop Companion series books, 6 of his earlier series, Woodworking Wisdom, and some others. Added together, I probably paid $1 per book plus shipping. Most, including the thick Woodworking Wisdom were only 75 cents. I inventoried last night & realized I was missing: Making Tables and Chairs, Making Boxes and Chests, and Work Benches and Shop Fixtures. I paid a little more last night. All in all, I have about 30 of his books. I was pleased to see that most of these books are new.
I hope one day to pass on my knowledge and tools to a grandson/daughter whom I can share not only what I know, but what others who have spent their lives doing.

Nick,
I like on of the earlier messages on this thread, I had never heard of you prior to the earlier part of this year. But then I was just getting serious with wood working.
Wouldn't it be nice if you could receive a residual every time one of us opened one of your books? Perhaps that might be some time in the future when Big Brother monitors our ever thought & motion.
But like a guy once told me years ago, better Nate than lever...

Too dumb to look - and too poor to buy.

With all good wishes,
I have 11 of your books, I got 10 when they were originally published and only your sanding book recently after you recommened it. I got the first 10 before I knew who you were and never realized they were even from the same author.
