Scroll Saw projects

Here are some ornaments my 10 year old cut out on the scroll saw over the weekend. I helped him sand the edges once he was finished. Happy Holidays!

Well, your ten year old is a better at following lines with a scroll saw than am I! What kind of blades and size are you/he using?

We used a #5 ultra reverse Flying Dutchman blade. We got them from www.mikesworkshop.com.

If your 10 year old son didn't live so far away from me, I'd impose myself on you and him to give me lessons. :) ;)

I think scroll saw work is a great way to introduce a young person to the joys of woodworking. What I wouldn't give for a grandchild....
