Saw Guard, What am I Missing?

Hi All,
I have been trying to get a guard on my machine and have not had success. I have two guards that came in the box of parts when I bought the unit. I must be missing something. Anyone have an idea what I'm missing so I can stop using it without a guard? (I know, HUGE no-no).
Below are some pictures of what I have. Any help would be appreciated. (Don't worry about the table being on the auxiliary end of the unit. I have two tables on this unit. It was just less mess to take a picture of this table)

Do you have the lower saw guard?

I think this is the one that matches your upper guard.

Yes. I have it, just not in the pictures. That makes perfect sense. I was stuck trying to figure it out and it was right there in front of me all along!
I also believe I found that the lead-in piece is upside down.
Any other corrections?

The 'wire' on the front is on upside down.

Thanks to your help I now have a guard mounted on a table saw for the first time in my life but now I have a new problem.....
The guard has small 'blades' on either side of the splitter to dig in and stop any kickback that may happen. The problem is that the longest blade can't pivot up out of the way to let the wood pass because it hits the back of the housing. See the pictures below. I'd appreciate if anyone has an idea what I'm doing wrong. Thanks!

The first two pix show the upper guard with the 'pin' correctly riding in the groove.
The later pix show that pin off the edge of the plate. That pin needs to be in the groove. That will move the upper guard forward so pin is forward of the pawls .

Thanks JPG! Will look at that tonight / this weekend.
I have plenty of shop time planned for this weekend. I'm in Eastern PA and we're expecting a lot of snow starting midnight tonight. So I laid in supplies to build and install a closet organizer, drawers, etc. for my daughter's closet this weekend. In the event I get ahead of the game, I also have an unfinished ShopSmith Support cart that will hold my Jointer, Bandsaw, Jigsaw, etc to work on. Nothing fancy but should generate a lot of sawdust which, to me, is a good day.
