What to Keep

So I ended up with two 510s, two Mark VIIs, and one Mark 5. I plan to mount the 510s on the base of the Mark VIIs and sell the rest of the pieces. I was wondering if I need to keep an extra of anything, for example the tailstock for lathe work.

The tailstocks are interchangable.

Yes I know they are interchangeable but is there any reason to have more than one?

I respectfully decline to answer on account of my habit of keeping way more things then I need to. If it were me I'd keep it all.

Well when I sell the Mk5 I want to include enough to make it usable.

I also have two of these. I assume they are lathe rests for long work but I can't find them on the SS parts list or how to mount it.

I also have an extra 510 lower saw guard and dust collection set up. Will this work with the disk sanders?

It will work with the 510. It will not work with the older shopsmiths if sanding in the table, it could be used if it is used outside the table. It also will not work with the AL disks with the fins on the back side with out extending the quill to account for the fins.

Interesting looking part but I don't think it is a shopsmith thing.
