Outside the Box

Saw this on eBay today

Picked up one at Goodwill for $2.00 already assembled. Here is what I can do with it:
use it for accurate measurements without a ruler for setting the saw blade.
Using an x-acto to scribe a line.
What else can I do with it?
BTW - who needs the box if you are going to use it. Boxes are only good for selling firearms that have never been fired.
