I have my father's old shopsmith that he purchased sometime after WW II ( I was born in 1957 )and would like to donate it to someone who would care for it. My father has passed and it has been in storage for about 45 years but still runs. I live in Houston, Texas and can make arrangements for someone to pick it up. I am not willing to ship due to health reasons.
Thanks
Gary

Welcome Gary!
You are doing a very nice thing!!! I have been fortunate enough to be given a 10ER and a Mark V with a band saw(2 different folks) absolutely free.
I have cleaned them up and take great care of both...
Someone here and close to you will snap it up soon...
All the best,
Mike

Indeed a kind gesture.
I just recently acquired my 1st 10ER due to one forum member's help, and I am finalizing the 10E I have wanted today from another member.
It is a machine someone will indeed love to have that can come to Houston to pick it up. I would love to have it, as anyone here would.
Lubbock where I am is about 8 hours away from you.
Everett

I certainly will take it.
I have an older brother in The Woodlands I need to visit.
If you can keep it there for a bit, consider it adopted into the Davis family in Lubbock.
I will PM You my phone number.
