Below are pictures of a part that was in the bucket of parts that came with a ShopSmith Mark V I purchased off of Craigslist. Anyone have an idea what it if for / from? Thanks - Nick

Nothing SS related that I know of. It almost looks incomplete, like something is missing. It appears to me to be able to adjust vertically and horizontally.

If you post a closer photo which shows the writing on the one side, that would probably help narrow it down.

Gonna piggy back off this that for a second. This came with mine, and in all honesty, I could have pulled it off myself since I'm breaking down a few things and simply don't remember. So, anyone know what this is?

The bore fits the upper auxiliary spindle. But there's two set screws. And they're not 5/32 Allen. I think I measured the threads to be 1/2" diameter.

Otherwise, sorry for intruding!

It looks like an arbor for a motor shaft. From the length it could have been for stacking buffing wheels???
