I picked up a Mark 2 recently in pretty good shape except thst the previous owner made it a mini by cuttng one way tube in half and it does no have a metal base. It did come with a homemade wooden base that it sits in but does not bolt onto. So using it in drillpress mode or in lathe mode is not currently possble.
Any thoughts on geting this back to normal working order and also any user documentation would be greatly appreciated.

Any ss way tube will work. 1 3/4 x 52".
The end caps will bolt to a 2x4.(lag bolts)

JPSs post helped quite a bit - thanks!
Does anyone have a pointer to a pdf of the users manual?

What function would you add to a 10 to make it an 11?
