I am looking to by a Shopsmith 7 but I wanted to see one first. I've already looked at the videos. I live in Southern CA in the Whittier, La Mirada area. Does anyone know were I might talk to someone in my area.

Some will have to self identify so we will have to see if anyone can help you. I do remember one member with a powerpro who is Lancaster, on the map that doesn't look too far but if you have to go through LA well......

Now if you want to see the whole deal of dual tilt and 520 fence system it might be harder to find someone with all of that close by.

Shopsmith does have demos and they offer discounts and they are held at Lowe's Stores where you can get additional discounts. The listing of current demos is found here:

I'm hoping that will become a fuller list soon, and have a demo in my area. I have a full blown 7 and a second machine that I want to add the dual tilt and lift too but would rather take advantage of the demo deals.

Lowes is the best price but you may try the LA county fair in Sept. check in local paper they sold a lot in Whitter years back. So there should be some old users there. Ask Battles hardware. They were a dealer but the had bad luck with Shopsmith, but they may know some old buyers. Ask SS when the dealer show will be back in So Cal.
