First Unread post

Is it just me or what? It seems like the forum does not pick up the first unread post if log in on the next calendar day.

In other words, I read a thread on the 25th and log off and then someone posts later on the 25th. I log on again on the 26th and click first unread post. The forum does not go to the unread post(s) on the 25th it goes to the first post on the 26th.

Has anyone noticed this?

Hmmm that could explain my 'discovering' missed posts at times.

The other thing I am not sure of is how the forum reacts if there were no new posts on the next calendar day but there were new posts on the previous day. I think but don't know for sure that in that case the forum does go back to the previous day.

I've not had it act up for me. I'll watch for it now, though.

I thought I was loosing my mind with this. I've been noticing it for approx. 2 weeks and just figured with being busy, busy, I was simply overlooking something.

I've really noticed it when I'm away from my laptop and check the forum with my phone. When I come back to the laptop, Wowee, There's stuff that wasn't there just a short time ago...

For a little while, I thought I was entering a "fourth" dimension...

I'm so glad someone else noticed this and brought it to our attention!!!

Mike

And I thought it was just me...

Maybe I am not seeing things... Well, we all aren't seeing things it appears, and I am not the only one.

I have gotten used to "refreshing" the site every time I sign on, otherwise does not show any new posts since I was last on the site...

At the top of each page one is on there is the name of the site you are on... "Shopsmith.com" in this case. On the right is a thingy (I know that is technical talk, but you should be able to figure it out) that if you click on it it will refresh the screen you are on. Ain't technowldgly wunerful ?
