Brought It All Home Today

I mentioned last week that I had a chance at a Mark V from 1985 with a ton of accessories for $500. Well it all came home today. Lathe duplicator, biscuit jointer, belt sander, shaper and knives, mortise and tenon jigs, lathe face plates, arbors, a tone of material handling/pushing tools, the unit itself is pristine, extra table extensions, a SPT storage base, and all the usual bits and pieces. He also talked me into taking what I assumed was a vertical router set up but after I got home I found out it is an original Strong model 4200 Joint-Matic in steel on a ridiculously stout roll around base. I could almost sell the Joint-Matic and base and get most of my cost back.
The whole time he was thanking me for getting it out of his rental's garage because the new tenant was moving in and I was thinking that I should be wearing a mask because I was almost stealing the stuff.
Oh yeah it came with a few lathe tools.

Great value. Good find.

Some are really good deals, and one has to be in the right place at the right time.

Keep watching and if one is fortunate, you can pull the trigger on some.

Don't let jealousy ruin the fun in seeing another brother or sister do well. You too will have opportunities.

Congratulations. You should be in jail but as long as you are not...well, when do you start cleaning, aligning and lubricating?

We need more pictures. One frontal and one side view with height markers in the background.

I was being facetious. I thought this forum was fueled by that. ;)

I had a similar $500 highway robbery find I posted about back in 2014, so I can't complain. But this has different stuff (lathe duplicator!) so I'm allowed lighthearted coveting.

I don't have a hating bone in my body. :P

I enjoy all the humor and advice I get from this group of miscreants ;)
As far as oiling aligning etc. I have to finish the great Garage/Shop/Storeroom/Dance Studio organization project. Storage cube goes away next Monday so I have this weekend to find a place for all of the stuff I staged in there so I could move around in the garage to get workbenches and shelves set up.
