Saw this on eBay for sale yesterday... It went quick. It included plans for a router/shaper table. Has anyone built the table according the plans and what their thoughts are on it? I was curious as to what it looks like and if they could share the plans/pics?

Router table tops are easy, or complicated as the case may be there are numerous videos on line about building them. The tricky part is getting a top sufficiently thick so that the top does not sag over time and make a dip right where the router is hanging and then every time you use it your cuts are curved as the wood follows the down slope and the upslope. I had this problem with a top I made years ago, I now have my son in law looking for a single piece 1" to 1-1/2" thick formica topped kitchen or dining room table to mount my next router in.

The tricky part is getting a good snug fit in the top for the router plate to rest in deep enough so you can use some leveling screws to bring it up smooth and flush to the top.

If you use a router inlay bit set or a top bearing flush trim bit getting the plate installed it not difficult.
