Wandering around on ebay looking for scrap aluminum blocks, I can across this. It's the scrap outlet store for a company called 80/20.
They call themselves "The Industrial Erector Set".
They make a lot of t-slotted aluminum extrusions. I ordered a few pieces to look at closer.
This stuff just screams fixtures and jigs for us!

Do they make any t-slots that are exactly compatible with the Shopsmith bar, I have been looking for a longer extrusion then Shopsmith sells. Today I use two butted end to end but where they meet there is a slight bump.

It's a different shape of t-slot.
Can be used for actually making tables, frames, router table fence.
Maybe worth looking at.
