Setup SS Bandsaw - Urethane or Rubber Tires?

My used 510 included a band saw, which I setup and used for the first time today. Quite impressed, smooth, quiet, and cuts great. There was a blade already installed, about 7 TPI. I cleaned and lubed it and will spend some time later adjusting and squaring things up.
A much better BS then the 10" Delta and Craftsman saws I've had. Planning to set my 14" Craftsman up for re-sawing, and using the SS for general cutting and scrolling.
The tires look okay so I'll leave them alone for now. I searched posts and read reviews, and it seems the optional urethane tires are not the hot setup. But the idea of gluing new rubber tires on doesn't sound too fun either. Any advice regarding replacement tires?
Thanks - Alan
