The latest SS project! The wife is a busy quilter and needed yet more hanging space so found this project online. The best part is that I finally got to use the horizontal boring function of my SS. I've had my SS since '95 and never got to use it! Made drilling for the threaded inserts a breeze!

Makes a really nice looking piece of furniture, Tommy! Congratulations!
Noticed the other quilt hanging on the wall in the first picture. Did you also make a wall wood quilt hanger?

2 years ago I made 8 quilt racks for the club my wife belongs to. These were made of cherry and were 6 foot wide and apox 6 foot high. They were made to be taken down when not in use. Each rack will hold 2 quilts folded in half. They weer taken apart by taking out 4 threaded knobs which held the cross bars in and pick the uprights out of the 4 inch thick bases. I will have to get some pictures when they have their quilt show this year
