So I see there is a new or at least new to me glue out:

Maybe not as general purpose as some others but it does have some interesting points like a cure time of 30 minutes which could be handy....... and well you all can read the rest.

Now the big question, has anyone here tried it yet?

I have to go out this afternoon but I hadn't thought about glue shopping, no plans to go to those listed stores either...... but if I happen to get close enough I might at least price it.

I looked at the website but could not find info on the chemical makeup of the product.Is it some kind of CA glue? Or is it more similar to Gorilla Glue?

Yup, some sort of CA glue. Ethyl cyanoacrylate & Dimethyl sebacate.

DAP RapidFuse SDS

Been a busy day, gardening and running around but I didn't get to any stores that sell it. On Amazon it is $10.85 for .85 OZ and free shipping. Not cheap.

I ask the question about what kind of glue it is on Amazon but now it looks like we know... will see if anyone answers there.

Why do you say that? One has to shop. I check all (most) sources before I buy.

Had to get more paint today at Lowe's so picked up the large bottle while I was in the area. Small bottle .85 oz. @ $5 versus large 4 oz. @ $10. So the glue is cheap but plastic is expensive? Yes, I do know that the package is often the most expensive part (the aluminum can costs more to make than the beer or pop), just being facetious!
No clue how well it will work but liked the idea that it had a long open time as long it was left in a blob. The site has a recommendation to not use too much, so finding a good balance will be interesting.

So yes do shop around.

BTW I always look at several places before I order online, often Amazon has the best price when total cost is looked at but not always. And always shop total price, not just the cost of the item.

With the mistakes I make with glue ups I want something that I can take apart and fix so this isn't for me. When I get younger and more experienced I might go for it.
