Looks like an Excalibur spin off, licensed maybe?

Basically the same price point as the Excalibur. Since they are using the tilt arm design I presume that is the market that they want. I do like they use the same lower blade holder design as the SS.

I'm actually a bit skeptical of the upper holder as a clamp and blade tightener as one. Time will tell.

I'm going to be going to Woodcraft's bag sale on Friday and I will see if they have one to look at.

I don't do enough of that sort of work to buy one at these prices but I think I like some of the features of these newer style saws over my shopsmith. If I did more of this sort of work I could justify the purchase of a newer design but I just don't.

It is impressive - if it does all that they claim.

I have an Excaliber EX21. This looks a lot like one but it's definitely not the same. You don't remove the lower blade holder to change the blade on an Excaliber. Once they are are aligned properly you just stick the blade in tighten the knobs and flip the lever. The blade holders are not removed to change the blades.

Downloaded the owner's manual. This has some interesting features. One is blade oscillation control, Forward leaning for aggressive cuts or vertical for precision. Simple motor brush replacement. I am not certain how I would like it, but the saw blade channel in the table would certainly eliminate a bunch of feeding blades through the bottom. Small holes in the table for dust collection might be a plus.
I am still uncertain if the top blade clamp system is something I would trust. From what I can tell, you push the blade back as far as it will go and press the clamp/tension lever and presume all is copacetic. I guess the precision is built into the arms.
Lots of ways to tweak machine functions.

All in all and interesting machine.

Thanks for the posting, Ed!

Be well,
Ben
