Reversing Motor Rotation on a Grayling??

I have seen some threads here on how to do it, I did a search and came up with some comments on it but not the specifics on how to do it. At moms I have that Grayling and a BS and Jointer for it, if I can get the motor to run in reverse and can mount the SPTs on opposite ends life would be so much sweeter.

Yes, I understand the motor brand is the difference. Bill Mayo has the answer.

Is the a switch change or motor wiring change?

The 'models' are GE, A O Smith, and Emerson. The Emerson is a lost cause.

The other two require cutting splices internal(down in the windings) and adding wire leads.

The task is separating the start circuit from the run circuit. That allows adding an external DPDT reversing switch(separate from the power on switch.

Thanks JPG, beyond my pay grade for that!! As Clint said to his Luetenant that said he was proud that in 30 years he never had to draw out of his holster, Clint said, a good man knows his limitations" Magnum Force.
Maybe to a motor shop if it is the right manufacture.
