Laura and I just got back from our three week Oregon trip. We saw Elk (fleetingly) while we were there, but this video is just amazing. Make sure to take the full 10 min to watch, it IMHO is worth it.
NM Elk are very very wild. We have seen herds of 200 or more at watering holes, but again you have to be so stealthy that you can't observe them like this ....
