How much air are you suppose to put into a pneumatic sanding drums? Is there a set pressure or just until it puffs out slightly or what?

I don't have one. Don't they come with instructions? It seems that the instructions wood tell you.

I use the Shopsmic Pneumatic Sander so often in wooden aircraft contruction that I have actually built a jig that converts it to a stand-alone bench-top tool. It is alsolutely fantastic for sanding and blending curved surfaces such as wing struts and propellers. The amount of air pressure I put in the drum depends on the radius of the curve. As a general rule of thumb, the smaller the radius, the lower the air pressure so the drum can conform to the shape.

I have received various items from SS that do not come with instructions, most of which do not require them, as the uses of the items are pretty generic. If you can not locate the instructions, are you sure it came with some? My question was not so much if you thought to look at them, but rather,

None taken. These drums are for my older model delta sanding station. I have installation instructions, but no instructions on their use.
