Shopsmith that is.
It's my middle kids birthday next Monday so we went and picked up a used shopsmith for him today. Will need some work and some parts but the headstock was in great shape for a 1984 model. Tubes only minor spotting of rust and the other stuff that you expect to see. Casters mounted backwards (levers on the back). Missing all the hardware out bound on the table crank, no quill feed handle, no miter gauge and well other things yet to be determined.
Odd collection in a BIG tub. Two sets of saw guards ????(tops and bottoms)*. Part of a lathe duplicator but missing a lot of parts. Some bandsaw blades still in pkg but rusted....... no band saw. Set of planner blades, no planner. Plastic dust bags but no dust collector. Anyway now with both sons and I owning machines we can adjust some of our parts inventory and maybe work most of the deficiencies with only minor additional costs. When we do a final inventory I'm sure he will have some parts he can sell on ebay and maybe pay for the missing parts.
*The other son is missing the saw guard and needs one so this is great. A new one would have cost more then I paid for the whole pile we got.
Sorry no pictures.
