If I tighten the Head Stock lock/lever tight, it interferes with the Speed Changer handle. I dont have that problem on my other one. Why on this one, wear?

When my headstock is locked the handle points to the right, no interference with the speed changer. Is it just that the lock handle points toward the speed changer when locked, (like this) and gets in the way of your hand.
If so, and you have the single wedge locks, you could try swapping the headstock lock with the carriage lock.
That may change the way it points enough to not pose a problem. Might work with double wedge locks but they are more difficult to remove/install.

If the speed changer handle is actually hitting the HS lock handle then perhaps the speed changer was assembled incorrectly. ie with the crank handle mounted to the right of the ears instead of to the left side. (in which case we can blame The Donald )

Time to go to work now, will check back at lunchtime.

PS A picture would help to diagnose the problem.

I think you nailed it. The one in question is the rebuild/sand/bead blasted I bought of of EBay. The rod is on the motor side, your has the nuts on the motor side. Funny thing I have an original one, not rebuilt at any time to my knowledge, on my work bench for one I am rebuilding and the rod on that one is on the motor side also.

I believe Magna changed that at some point. I have two different owners manuals that have some of the accessories listed. They both show the speed changer with the rod on the head stock side. I also have a separate accessories catalog that shows the rod on the head stock side.

I have two different speed changer instruction manuals. One shows the rod on the head stock side and the other shows it on the side away from the head stock. Neither manual is dated but the one with the rod away from the head stock has a lot more information in it so I suspect that is the newer one.

This manual shows the crank shaft mounted to the left, so changing it over would be your solution.

Dyck is pronounced "Dick", so you're not too far wrong . My dads family were Mennonites (not me), family lore has it that it was originally spelled Dueck (with some kind of accent on the "u") but when they immigrated to Canada some bureaucrat put it down a Dyck on the forms.

Not a RPG, but occasionally gas propelled.

And yes, YouTube is a black hole that I have fallen into many time also.
