If I tighten the Head Stock lock/lever tight, it interferes with the Speed Changer handle. I dont have that problem on my other one. Why on this one, wear?

This manual shows the crank shaft mounted to the left, so changing it over would be your solution. :D

Well got around to it tonight, no go, the "ears" are to short for the rod to clear the end sheave and get both mounting pins in there holes. When they changed it they must have lengthened the ears a bit also.

OHPS MY BAD!!!!!! A second look is no it will go in I just need to loosen the nut that holds the sheaves on the Speed Changer shaft and move that away from the ears, now that will let me clear the sheave, drop in the rod pins and all will be fine.
Wise man once said, "its only a mistake if some one finds out b4 you fix it" :D

SUCCESS ON BOTH, that gave me the clearance for the SC rod to mount it, and now the SC speed adjustment handle, clears the HS locking handle.
That guys, you were a big help on this one. :)
