Hey, what a coincidence, I just got a very similar gizmo! His name is Berkeley.

Lexy, rescue dog, house broken, about 2 years old, more for mom then me. 10lb ish of energy.

It's been my experience that (when in the position you and mom are in), the dog takes care of you! Love with no strings attached, very therapeutic.
