What is your one big shop "need" and your one big "want"?

Looking at "things" today...
I'm 74 and have been acquiring tools, of all kinds of trades, all of my adult life.
While a "want" list can be limitless, just for fun, my "need" list is super short in both the wood-shop and farm-shop. :)
Especially in the wood-shop I have a good sized (1,000 sq. ft. year-round shop with heat and AC. I have the machinery and tools to do about anything I want to do. I have wood available and a mill to cut more as needed along with the ability to dry it.
My "need" list is just two items...
1. I "need" massive progress in organization. :o
2. I need to be at least 20 years younger... :p :) :D
My "want" list includes about every tool (or old tractor) I see or touch. :D :D :D but that list does not have much of a priority status any more. I can be pretty happy where I am at now if I can just get some more of that organization stuff... :)

What is your one big need and one big want?

I actually have 2 big needs
1a) more space. I work in a very small space, a lot of times I use my SS outside.
1b) Money, the capital to turn my hobby into a business that would allow me to support my family financially

My want is more tools. I get by with what I have but a few that I don't have sure would help.

A dedicate shop building with heat and AC with many windows. I dont mind the basement in the winter, but cant stand it in the summer, I need to be above ground. The garage is too warm at times in the summer.
Need the Lotto though, big win, dont need the Power Ball but just below it. That would be my want.
I dont really have a need list, have all I need, except more energy at times ;)

I understand that one... I have been "opening up" my basement. I have a 5' wide opening directly into the woodshop with a door with a window (the only window in the basement). Seeing out and having some natural light in the daytime really helps. I have a 4' high wall between the woodshop and the rest of the basement with the upper half of the wall with heavy clear plastic glazing so I can see over into the other part of the basement but confine the dust to the shop room. Still that is not quite enough for this old claustrophobic...
I acquired a double glazed window about 4' high and 6' or more wide to install in the 24' long wall that has the outside door in it. That will be a huge help and add lots of natural light. I will be able to see outside from anywhere in the shop.

Maybe a little more energy and ambition would help.

My need is more time as I have a 3 and 5 year old. Lol.

My want is a miter saw. While i can do it all with what I have, I would love the fast and ease of a chop saw.

The time will come, enjoy the time with the children now, they grow up faster then you grow old.

Well Jim, the shop lots of windows, I think it is rpd that has the view!!! On the Island. No over head door, French Patio doors, 36" each glass with side lights/grids. A toilet and sink, then in one corner a cracked Field Stone Hearth and internal chimney of the same, heat sink and love the look, with a wood burner for the real scrap and a log or 2, Leather Recliner in front for a gray day nap. Electric base board heat, in WI it is cheap, ceiling fans and a AC unit of sorts for the summer time. WiFi of course.
Oh a Dorm frig for chilled beverages. I am not a soda, beer drinker, BUT at 4 ish, I need some ice ;) Why would I need to go to the house?? Just put an Afcan Mom knitted on me and nighty night :D
