Moms garage is 20x 26ft by my eye ball, 20ft wide for sure, 16ft wide door and 2 ft on each side, 26ft min deep, I bet 28ft, deep, it is the depth of the house, minus the bedroom area on the other side, that is4ft deeper. Shelves and a table on the back side. So for the summer, a shop in here, SS, ER, router cabinet, 2x4ft sheet of plywood on horses with the pla1ner and CPMS on it, 2 work benches, one wood working and one machinist and some storage stuff in here.
Just sitting out here and thinking about winter, and the heater position, cant get the BMer in here and have a shop that functions. The shop is more important for me and my sanity for the winter. The Bmer is Alpine White anyway, will blend in with the snow. ;)
Take the tail stock off the ER dedicated drill press and 180* the tail will go under a table in the front of the garage. Move both benches that way, set up the other ER perpendicular to them, move the Grayling that away too.
Then the router table more towards the overhead door, the new Jet table saw with a long/wide right wing into the center, and the CPMS and plainer table setup I will be styling.
Heater on the opposite wall of the house adjoining wall, which is no insulated and the coldest wall, just like in a house, heat vents on outside walls. Ya Dusty pics will come. I am glad all are on casters except the work benches and the horse set up.
