I sent this to JPG and haven't had a reply so he must be non compos mentis. Old, really old Catholics get this as do attorneys and others steeped in Latin.
I believe that if he was available he would have identified this.
It is for the ORIGINAL Mark VII.

It looks similar to a SS hold down, the flat pieces with curve up ends act like a cawl to spring down on the work piece, the long horizontal piece abates me though.

2nd look at the pics, the long top piece in your pic clamps to the table, then slide in the other bar pieces to it, then the flat ones into it the holders on the bars, the flat ones act like a bench dog hold down.

JPG would have recognized it and responded had he not been out of town(off line) and had you actually attached a pix to the e-mail you sent him!
ERLOVER is pretty much correct.
And there is nothing wrong with JPG's mind!!!!!
At least
he does NOT ask a question about a virtual non existent pix!

I have that exact item. I got it from AMT or Craftsman. I still have it and the paper work. Can't dig to look for it as the boxes weigh more then I can lift at present. It looks different then the ones that shopsmith had, or at least the ones I have seen from shopsmith. Devil is in the details.
To be honest it didn't work all that well so I haven't used it in years. I had this before I got my shopsmith in 1976 so perhaps mine is from a year or two before that.

A slightly different version.

Not being paranoid re my e-mail address, I tend to not be so with others.
If that is an issues with DB5, I will obfuscate them.

It seems I missed the first e-mail from DB5 that did indeed include the pix.
Sorry for the confusion! Was 'on the road' and having to deal with a battery about to peter out.
