I turned a second project for the Pallet Wood UpCycle contest. I used the 10ER for the lathe for this instead of the big Powermatic. Thought some of you would like to see it in action. Unfortunately I forgot to hit record here and there, but I got most of it!

Chris a few things, first nice You Tube!!!
2nd what do you run the ER on? Low or high speed?
I ask, my nephew is a turner, and I set him up with an ER with a Speed changer but have on the low belt setting, previously he was turning on a greenie.
3rd, back ground music, I thought I was on hold with the IRS.

Thanks... When spindle between centers i usually turn at around 1500, but with this project since it was a glue up i think I kept it to around 900. I honestly don't know what speed range i have it set on. You can probably tell me?!

You are on the high speed setting, low is 425-1600rpm, opposite motor HS pulleys, I got to find my chart for the high speed, it is on my desk top but looking for it, it may be a bit, just getting mom ready for bed, she is doing here hygiene.
Its on my other lab top, I think it is about 1600-5400, I am sure if JPG is lurking he will correct that. :D
I have not turned since high school it is not about known rpm, it is a bout feel and vibration, tool performance ect, but you know that better then me.
