Current Overarm Pin Router Table

I've just purchased the current version of the overarm pin router off of ebay. It appears to be in new condition and complete as shown here except for the table itself. Image

If anyone has such a table they would like to part with, please contact me via PM.

Sine that is unlikely, however, and I expect to build my own table, I would appreciate if someone who owns one could give me some construction details, size, thickness, location of holes, etc.

Thanks in advance!

I own a table but it was damaged in "shipment" or so the ebay ad said. It had to have some work done on it so it is not the official size any more. I can measure it but like I said the outside dimensions will not be official.

It is now oak trimmed:

If you can live with that let me know or maybe someone else can help out on this.

Thanks, Ed. Let's give it 24 hours or so and see if anyone has an unaltered version. I'll also call the mothership; this isn't in production, but who knows, maybe there's a spare table laying around.

I'll PM you if that falls through!

By the way, Ed, nice thread on the table fix!

Seems to me the important dimensions are the holes/insert locations. The over all dimension is not critical.

Yeah, the OPR "slab" has an excess number of holes to allow mounting to a 500 as well as a 510/520 aluminum table.

Mine is semi-buried for the moment as I had to move it during a bathroom remodel going on immediately upstairs from it. If you get no further responses on dimensions, then prompt me in a week or so and I'll dig it out for measurements. :)

Thanks to those who offered to get me measurements.

I called Shopsmith customer service this morning and, to my pleasant surprise, they still have the tables for the "new" OPR in stock, even though the "new" OPR is currently out of production.

The bad news was the price! It cost as much as I paid on ebay for the rest of the OPR set up on and about 1/2 of what the OPR cost the last time it had a price listed on the website!

Oh well! I could probably make one of these with a few critical dimensions, but now I will have a complete and essentially new OPR, something I've wanted for a while!

Can't wait to use it!

Yep, I think you'll like it...

I've got a project due to resume, which will have some drawer work courtesy the OPR. Rough teaser shown here:
