I see the the bottom carriage tubes remove easily, however, the top ones on one end show no set screw. What am I missing in their removal? Are they press fit in?
Thanks,
Tom

If you have an older unit the set screws that hold the Way Tubes are concealed from view. Raise the way tubes into the drill press position and look into the castings from what would the bottom of the tubes and you should see the set screws up inside the end castings. I am assuming that you are talking about the way tubes.

Your correct. The screws are down inside the casting. Hard to find because they are pretty well hidden behind pivet rod the casting rotates on.
Thanks again!!
