The attached is an image of another outfeed table I have. I use this when I use sheet goods (mostly) and I have no one to help handle the cutoffs.

Smaller and made from aluminum would maybe be better.

Would probably not use the miter gauge and rip fence stop block when using this table. Poor (no) photo prep on my part.

As you know this design is similar to the one I was talking about that I'm trying to get the designer/builder to post.

He uses the same concept but his aluminum rails extend equal distance front and back of the main table and are the same width as the main table. He then lays sheets of ply on so the whole thing is even with main SS table. His outfeed table is grooved so there is room for the mitre guage bar to extend out onto it.

I guess his design would be very similar to yours where you use the extension brackets and cantilever the table. Only he has both an infeed and outfeed, which I would think would help balance the whole setup.

His design does provide much better "balance" in that the infeed and outfeed sides are equal size and weight. His is really not cantilevered; it just sets down onto the rails.

My table, pictured in this thread, would be much too large on the infeed side. I wouldn't be able to feed stock all the way into the blade.

I'm intrigued by this. How much does this weigh?

It weighs 231.4 pounds until I step off the scale. Then it weighs a little bit less. Two hundred and twenty pounds less.

The outfeed table weighs 11.4 pounds with no dead weight on the scale.

The other table, with three coats of polyurethane and two coats of Johnson's wax (top surface only), weighs 12.8 pounds.
