Motor Bearings

My dad bought a Mark V at a second hand store for almost nothing. He got it home and found out the motor bearings are bad.

I looked at the thread about bearings and it looks like all the motors take 6203ZZ bearings. Makes it easy to buy the right bearings no matter what motor you have.

But I seem to remember that the 6203 bearing comes in two different sizes. A metric size (17x40x12) and a SAE (0.625" x 40mm x 12mm) standard size. And I think it can be found with a 3/4" bore.

Am I correct? What bearing does he need?

Thanks, Tom

Motor manufacturer? Only the Emerson needs the 5/8" rear bearing.

P.S. The franklin motor may need a different size bearing.(16x35x11 ?????)
