Bet that hurt the pocketbook. On tonight news N Korea will be saying how they shot down a US fighter plane. When I lived south of Grand Rapids there was a guy I knew that worked in areo space built a F 16 jet to scale. I don't remember the scale but it was about 8 foot long and he said he had about 5000.00 in it

It's only money.

Interesting, I wonder where the video was made. The RC plane is a replica of a Swedish fighter and most of the commentary was not in English. I have not seen a RC airfield big enough for that size RC model.

Here is another video my brother sent me, this time a very small twin engine jet that has a pilot.
Watch it full screen so you can see the gauges..........

No crash this time, which is good in all ways.

Kind of hard to tell the language but it sounded like German to me.
The airplane was a little like the Swedish Draken but the Draken does not have the forward canards and the Draken wings are a bit differently shaped.
What aircraft were you thinking about?

The Gripen by Saab.

There are several sites in Germany where they host these. My guess it is at one of those.
The title calls it a SAAB GRIPEN XXXL.

Yup, that is much more like it except the Gripen also does not have the front canards.
I was TDY in the 80's to a base in Denmark and they had Drakens. And I got the T shirt!

Nice, but his altimeter when he got in was 30ft, just b4 wheels off the ground
it was at 60, and after landing 50ft.
Reminded of The Boy in the Bubble.
