First off this is FYI.
She is here for the weekend.
http://www.lakecountryskillednursing.com/

Entered Thursday at 3pm, Hospice set it up, all meds moms uses 2 days b4, they gave them in advance, the list, and Catheterized. She was wearing her day time leg bag, which is smaller capacity then a night bag.
I called mom this morning to see how it went last night and this morning.
Well no meds last night, she has Glaucoma, and has 2 different eye drops to put in her eyes in the morning and bed time, NO EYE DROPS, the aid that helped her in to her pajamas and put her day clothes into 1 of 6 drawers in the room, the day aid could not find them this morning!!!!!! How long does it take to open and look in 6 drawers?? I am suppose to be on Rest Bit as a care giver. I spent all morning on the phone with Hospice Nurse and Lake Country's floor Nurse.
Last night at bed time they have no night bags. It is a 200 ish+ room/bed facility.
If I told one of my clients I was out of Thin Set Mortar to lay there tile, what do you think the response would be?

Hospice 'set it up'? I would be raising hell with them. Then I would likely be taking her home.

Sorry thing went this way. The Hospice care that worked with my stepmother were wonderful. they impressed my dad so much he is now a part time Hospice worker.
I hope everything gets better for you and your Mother.

The problem was not on Hospice end. It was Lake Country. Thanks though.

Exactly! Something smacks of negligence.

Hospice needs to be informed so that they can keep an eye on it in case it is an ongoing problem with more of their patients. It may affect Hospice recommending the center in the future or the center's contract with Hospice.
