Shopsmith Dust Collector Hood

I've been pretty happy with the Shopsmith dust collector, but any improvement would be good. I see the 42" hood is on sale, but I'm not sure if I have enough headroom. My ceiling is 81" above my floor. Can anyone confirm the height of 42" hood (with support) above the floor?

Mine measures 82 1/2" from the floor to the top of the support rod.

The height of the hood can be slightly adjusted by not fully extending the extendable rod that comes with the 42" hood. I think it makes the DC3300 much more efficient. If you can make it fit, go for it.
