Bavarian Wood Carving

I had the opportunity to visit the city of Oberammergau in Germany last month. It is home to the Bavarian State Woodcarving School. I heard that over 120 carvers work there. Attached are some photos of the craftsmanship displayed throughout the town. These are only a sample of what I viewed in the city. The carvings are impressive.
