Has anybody seen any plans for a unique snow gauge stick? Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I use a 6" Popsicle stick by the tongue of my travel Trailer while I am wintering in Yuma AZ. Works great.

Have kids and then send them outside if they disappear in the snow you know it is deep. :D

Seriously I once saw a snowman that had cute names, like ankle deep, knee deep, belly button deep, chest deep, neck deep and oh crap it's deep on his hat.

I think you could make or use anything it is how you annotate the different depths that would make it.

Like kids got to shovel, mom's got to shovel, dad shovels, kids stay home from school, dad stays home work.

Been there and I've seen it in person but not when it was in use.

Certainly glad I was there for 1978-79.

So need less to say snow totals depend a lot on where you live and what records might be set.

Same here in Milwaukee that year, snowed on TG weekend and still on the ground in March. Record winter.
Bought a new house, Closed on Feb 1, had movers on the 2nd high that day was 2*, best 365$ I ever spent, Schmidt Brothers Movers.
You dont ask friends to help you move, even in your 30s
