Carrier HVAC Help Please

I have a Weathermaker 8000 unit. Searches on the internet discuss error codes from a flashing red led. Nobody tells you where it is and I can't find it.

That didn't help. It is for a much newer model. Mine was manufactured 10/92. I pulled the cover off the circuit board (1st picture - top right) and there are no leds there.

Observing what it does do will provide clues.
Vent blower coming on? (flue pressure switch will close)
Hot surface plate energized? (heat detector?)
Gas valve energized? (flame detector switch close?)
Does blower fan come on?
Does flame roll out of heat exchanger? (bad!!!
)
Does it shut down? (when?)
There are likely additional pressure/vacuum switches.
