First commisioned project

My pension guy wanted a segmented bowl. He is paying me $125 for it (acyually a donation to the Rotary International Fund)! I figured it will cost me half of that to make it. It will have 457 pieces of wood- maple, walnut and purple heart :eek: . I have attached a computer simulated drawing and a photo of where I am now with it. I hope to have a video when done.
I think I've lost my mind! :)

Can someone rotate the blasted photo?

While this is 180 degrees opposite of how the photo was taken, this puts it in same orientation as your computer generated sketch. It is going to be beautiful!
