Hi All
I have an SS router table I use on the tail end of my SS. I have a shorty I use just for disk and belt sander.

I use the router table on the disk side, but at times I would like to change an angle. Has anybody done this with a router table.

My table carriage won't fit in the end, but the router table does.

I made up a jig to allow me to weld the 500 main table cutoff legs to a 500 table trunnion to fit in the SPT holes on each end of the Shopsmith. This gives me an adjustable tilt 500 table at each end of the Shopsmith. This also allows me a table sawing capability for my MINI Shopsmiths. Please contact me for additional information.

Some time ago I had to have a tilting axis router to produce a piece of furniture. The SS ended up solving the problem once again. It involves having a 510 or 520 because you need the connector tubes to stiffen the table up. I removed the table from the trunion and attached a router motor to the trunion and then locked the table over the top of it using the 60" connector tubes. Works very well and was very inexpensive to make. I bought a 2HP router motor at HF which I intended to replace if the concept works but the HF router motor performs quite well. For pictures and more info do a search for a post titled Solving Problems which was posted on July 9 2016. I don't know how to post a link to a previous post. Hopefully someone can educate me on that.
