On my 3 ERs and my nephews and some maybe Es, I have not gotten into it that deep, the casting seam is really dominate on at least one, like it was not ground smooth. I dont know it they changed casting techniques or if it was a quality control issue.
My last one I got this summer has it, that is the one the the guy delivered, from IL, on a Milwaukee visit, that his father bought new in IL.
The one that cleaned up so nice on the painted services with just 0000 SW and MS, then waxed.
JPG can pull the pics from that post, he is a magician!!!

I tried, I am enempt in some ways. Lets say you are SS forum master!!
Out blowing snow 8-11" by Saturday night, light and fluffy stuff. Keeping ahead of it, just a 2 cycle Snow Pup, Dads big 8hp Arans is up in A town, but a hog to manuviour unless using the the drive wheels clutches. 28" wide cut, 3 stage, dont get in front of it if you dont want to get ground up and out the chute.
