If you are near enough, it would be a good place to buy some boards of timber.

On his channel, you can actually watch the whole construction of it.
And he is a woodworker.

Great! Another Youtube channel to get hooked on! :D

I'm watching the first part, where is putting the brackets
to hold the edge of the log, and I'm thinking that he needs
to make that side flexible, somehow.

Also, anyone else notice the "WoodMizer" type design?

Watching the first real "build" episode, when his table-mounted
drill-press falls over, I'm wondering. Wouldn't a horizontal drill-
press work better?

Wonder who used to make a GOOD one? Hans?

Since he's a woodworker, how 'bout a decent lathe?

Hans? (How 'bout a cast iron lathe, Hans? Wait,
wasn't that your first one?) :D :D

Seriously, ANY ShopSmith would be an improvement to
this guy's shop. But, I AM enjoying the build series.
