Need some advice?

Post by brunutt »

I bought several SS saw blades off ebay and they came with Model 500 arbors. I have a Model 510 is it possible to use the 500 arbors on the 510?

500 Arbor use on a 510

Post by billmayo »

It is possible but not recommended as you would have to extend the quill and you cannot use the 510 lower and upper saw guards. Without the saw guards, it would be very dangerous for you or anyone in the shop. I would buy the 510 arbors as this is must cheaper than a mangled/lost finger or hand plus all the saw dust floating in the air in your shop.
